The PP5/G2005/5BM1 hydraulic power pack is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the Rexroth Power Packs series. It provides pressurized oil for hydraulic automation such as clamping, feeding, or positioning devices. A 5 hp (3.7 kW) motor rated for 3-phase 230/460 V power drives the gear pump at 1750 rpm to establish constant output. The motor uses a TEFC enclosure on an 184TC frame to prevent dust ingress and to fit standard mounting plates. With a pump displacement of 0.34 in³/rev (5.57 cm³/rev), the unit can supply a maximum flow of 2.5 GPM (9.46 L/min) for steady actuator movement. System pressure is limited to 2900 PSI (200 bar) to protect downstream components while still delivering ample force.
The reservoir holds 5 gal (19.0 L) of hydraulic fluid so the circuit remains primed during sustained cycles. Return oil is cleaned by a 20 µm absolute filter to extend valve and cylinder service life. A single bar manifold station accepts one valve stack, and the mounting face follows the D03 interface for plug-in directional valves. Port X1 is a -6 SAE pressure outlet, Port X2 is a -12 SAE tank return, and Port X3 is a -8 JIC auxiliary port, giving straightforward hose routing. These connection sizes, combined with the specified flow and pressure limits, enable quick integration into small automation modules. The balanced set of electrical, hydraulic, and mounting details makes the PP5/G2005/5BM1 a compact self-contained source of regulated hydraulic power.
