The PP5/G2005/3BM1 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth. Designed to supply hydraulic energy to actuators and valves in automation equipment, it uses a gear pump to generate flow suitable for steady-state duties. The pump operates with fixed displacement, so the output volume per revolution remains constant for predictable circuit behavior. A displacement of 0.34 in³ per revolution determines the oil moved each cycle, and a motor rated at 3 hp provides the mechanical input required to sustain that volume under load. The motor turns at 1750 rpm, a speed that balances flow production with component life. Electrical connection is made to a 230/460 V three-phase 60 Hz supply, matching common plant power systems. Fluid is stored in a 5 gallon steel reservoir, giving adequate oil volume for heat dissipation and air release while resisting mechanical damage. A drain port sized to SAE-8 simplifies fluid changes and contamination removal during maintenance. The industrial motor housing uses a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure, safeguarding the windings from airborne oil mist and debris. Frame size 182TC standardizes mounting dimensions, so replacement motors can be sourced without modification.
