The PP5/G2005/2BM1 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth. It serves as a compact hydraulic source for automation circuits by combining a fixed-displacement pump with an integrated reservoir and valve manifold. The pump moves 0.34 in³ of oil per revolution and delivers a continuous flow of 2.5 GPM, while system pressure is limited to 1,160 psi to protect downstream components. A D03 single-station bar manifold allows direct mounting of directional valves, and circuit ports are provided as –6 SAE, –12 SAE, and –8 JIC to match common hose ends. The five-gallon reservoir stores working fluid, and a 20 µm absolute return filter removes contaminants before oil reenters the tank.
Drive energy comes from a 2 hp, three-phase motor housed in a TEFC enclosure to keep dust and fluid out of the windings. The motor features a 145TC frame for standard foot and flange mounting, turns at 1,750 rpm, and synchronizes with the 60 Hz power frequency. It accepts 230 or 460 V AC, allowing the pack to run on common industrial mains without modification. Three-phase design ensures balanced torque and smooth pump operation, holding the fixed-displacement unit at its set flow across duty cycles. For maintenance, a –8 SAE drain port on the reservoir provides a dedicated path for fluid removal or sampling without dismantling pipework.
