The PP5/G2004/.75/3BM1/H0/L0 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth. It supplies pressurized oil to compact hydraulic systems used in automation. The gear pump with fixed displacement provides a constant output and is sized at 0.24 in³ per revolution, so each motor rotation delivers a predictable volume to the circuit. A 0.75 hp electric motor drives the pump at 1750 rpm, establishing a maximum flow of 1.8 GPM for low-demand tooling or clamping functions. The motor uses a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure to keep dust and moisture away from internal windings, and it mounts on a standard 56C frame to streamline replacement. A pressure line check valve is installed to block reverse flow when the motor stops, maintaining system pressure during pauses.
The five-gallon steel reservoir stores the hydraulic fluid and provides thermal mass for heat dissipation. A –8 SAE drain port at the base allows complete oil changes without disturbing piping, while an integral filler-breather lets air enter and exit the tank without drawing contaminants. SAE-8 threads on the A and B work ports give direct hose connection to cylinders or motors, and a D03 bar manifold surface is available for stacking directional valves on the unit. Return oil is cleaned by a 20 µm absolute element, and its visual clogging indicator alerts maintenance staff when the element needs replacement. These features combine to keep the circuit clean, simplify service, and ensure reliable flow to downstream actuators.
