The PP5/G2004/3/RV/H2/L0 hydraulic power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is built by Bosch Rexroth to supply pressurized oil to automated machinery. A G2-004 gear pump with a displacement of 0.24 in³ per revolution (3.93 cm³/rev) is coupled to a 3 hp, 3-phase motor so each shaft rotation produces stable flow. Running at 1750 RPM, that combination delivers a maximum flow of 1.8 GPM (6.80 L/min) for compact circuit demands. System pressure can reach 2420 PSI (165 bar) to actuate cylinders or motors that need medium-pressure service. The motor accepts 230/460 V and is designed for 60 Hz supply frequency, enabling direct connection to standard industrial mains. These electrical ratings give installers flexibility when the pack is integrated into multi-voltage plants.
Thermal and contamination control features are included to maintain fluid reliability during continuous duty. The motor uses a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure, and its 182TC frame supports common NEMA foot mounting. An air/oil heat exchanger classified as H2, catalog number R978809109, removes excess heat from the circuit so oil viscosity stays within target limits. A 5 gal reservoir stores the working fluid, and a -8 SAE drain port at the base allows fast oil changes. Return flow is cleaned by a 20 µ absolute filter element to protect valves and actuators from wear. Together these components keep the power pack operating within temperature and cleanliness ranges required for precise hydraulic automation tasks.
