The PP5/G2004/2/RV/H2/L0 hydraulic power pack is part of the Rexroth Power Packs series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for machine tool and factory automation circuits. A fixed-displacement pump moves 0.24 in³ per revolution (3.93 cm³/rev), and this displacement combines with a 1750 rpm motor speed to establish a maximum flow of 1.8 GPM (6.80 L/min) for compact actuators and clamping devices. System pressure can rise to 1610 psi (110 bar), giving sufficient force for medium-duty cylinders. The three-phase 60 Hz motor accepts either 230 V or 460 V supplies, so the unit integrates into common North American power panels, while the totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure keeps debris out of the windings during continuous service. A heat exchanger identified by part number R978809109 uses an air-to-oil core (designated H2) to control working fluid temperature, and a level indicator with an integrated thermometer lets maintenance staff verify oil height and thermal condition through the tank wall.
The hydraulic reservoir holds 5 gal (19.0 L) of oil in a welded steel tank that resists vibration and external impact in mobile bases or factory cells. A drain fitted with a −8 SAE port simplifies oil changes without lifting the enclosure. Return flow passes through a 20 µm absolute filter to remove fine particles before the fluid reenters the circuit, extending valve and actuator life. Pressure delivery leaves the assembly through −6 SAE, −12 SAE, and −8 JIC ports labeled X1, X2, and X3 so installers can segregate separate branches or connect gauges without additional manifolds. A pressure-line check valve is already installed to stop backflow when the motor is off, protecting upstream components from reverse rotation and pressure decay. These features form a self-contained source of regulated hydraulic power for presses, test stands, and indexing mechanisms.
