The PP5/G2004/2/3BM2/H0/L0 hydraulic power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series. It supplies pressurized oil for automated clamps, cylinders, and directional valves in small hydraulic systems. The assembly employs a G2-004 gear pump whose displacement is 0.24 in³ per revolution (3.93 cm³/rev) so flow is proportional to shaft speed. At rated conditions the pump delivers up to 1.8 GPM (6.80 L/min), covering light actuation duties. System pressure is allowed to rise to 1610 PSI (110 bar) so compact actuators can generate substantial force. A 145TC frame electric motor rated at 2 hp (1.4 kW) provides the drive torque. The motor enclosure is totally enclosed fan cooled, keeping windings clean in oily environments. It operates on a 60 Hz, 3-phase supply and spins the pump at 1750 rpm to reach the specified flow.
A two-station bar manifold is fitted so two separate valve stacks can be bolted directly to the power pack and fed from a common pressure gallery. Return oil passes through a filter with a 20 µ absolute rating, preventing particulate contamination from reaching sensitive components. A 5 gallon (19.0 L) steel reservoir stores hydraulic fluid, providing thermal capacity and mounting support for the pump and motor. Electrical connections accommodate either 230 V or 460 V three-phase mains, allowing the pack to be wired to standard industrial panels. These features combine to provide a compact self-contained source of controlled flow and pressure for machinery that requires reliable hydraulic automation.
