The PP5/G2004/1/3BM1/H0/L0 power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the Rexroth Power Packs series. It supplies hydraulic power to small automation circuits where compact self-contained units are preferred. A gear pump with a displacement of 0.24 in³ per revolution provides fixed displacement flow. This arrangement delivers up to 1.8 GPM (6.80 L/min) at a maximum pressure of 800 psi (55 bar). The pump is driven by a 1 hp (0.7 kW) motor that runs at 1750 rpm on a 60 Hz supply. The motor is built in a 143TC frame and enclosed in a TEFC housing for general industrial environments. One bar manifold station is included, and circuit connections are made through an SAE-8 (3/4-16 UNC) port on the manifold.
The steel reservoir holds 5 gal (19.0 L) of hydraulic fluid to stabilize system temperature and provide adequate make-up volume during cylinder cycles. A –8 SAE drain port at the base permits clean oil changes without removing the tank from the machine frame. Oil returning from the circuit passes through a 20 µm absolute filter, preventing fine particulate from reaching the gear pump and control valves. The combination of reservoir capacity and filtration supports long service intervals in automated production cells. Compact packaging of the pump, motor, and manifold keeps overall footprint minimal for skid or machine-side mounting. All hydraulic functions are powered directly from the constant outlet of the pump, eliminating the need for additional flow control devices. These features allow the PP5/G2004/1/3BM1/H0/L0 unit to serve as a standalone source of moderate-pressure oil for jigs, presses, or indexing tables.
