The PP2.5/P1-9/2/3BM4/H0/L0 hydraulic power unit is part of the Rexroth Power Packs series from Bosch Rexroth and serves as a compact source of pressurized oil for automated machinery. Its gear pump moves 0.10 in³ per revolution, a displacement chosen for accurate metering in controlled motion loops. The assembly delivers up to 0.8 GPM (3.02 L/min), a flow suitable for modest actuator groups that require steady rather than high-volume supply. System pressure is capped at 3000 psi (210 bar) so cylinders and directional valves can work at common industrial load levels without risk of overload. A 4-station D03 bar manifold provides four mounting faces for stackable directional valves, reducing external pipework and leak points. Ports A and B on the manifold are cut with SAE-8 (3/4-16 UNC) threads, which match standard hose fittings for the specified pressure range.
Drive energy comes from a 2 hp (1.4 kW) electric motor in a 145TC frame, giving a standard foot pattern that simplifies replacement in the field. The motor accepts 3-phase power at 230 or 460 V, enabling direct connection to typical plant mains. A totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure keeps airborne oil and dust away from the windings while maintaining cooling airflow. Shaft speed is fixed at 1750 rpm so the pump achieves the stated flow without overspeed or cavitation. Hydraulic fluid is stored in a 2.5 gal (9.5 L) reservoir, which provides enough volume to minimize aeration during continuous cycling. The tank includes a –6 SAE X1 suction port, a –12 SAE X2 return port, and a –8 JIC X3 auxiliary port to support flexible circuit routing. A return filter rated at 20 µm absolute removes fine particles before oil re-enters the tank, extending valve and pump service life.
