The PP2.5/P1-4/1/3BM1/H2/L0 hydraulic power pack is part of the Rexroth Power Packs series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It provides a compact source of pressurized fluid for automated cylinders, clamps, and other motion elements in industrial machinery. A pump displacement of 0.05 in³ per revolution (0.82 cm³ per revolution) meters fluid accurately and pairs with a motor rated at 1.0 hp (0.7 kW) to maintain steady flow. The motor turns at 1750 rpm so that the pump can reach a maximum flow of 0.4 GPM (1.51 L/min) for low-volume control circuits. Electrical supply flexibility is ensured because the motor accepts either 230 or 460 V at 60 Hz, allowing connection to common North American plant services. Together these drive elements support system demands up to 3000 psi (210 bar) when precise actuation forces are required.
The unit holds 2.5 gallons (9.5 L) of hydraulic fluid in a steel reservoir, supplying adequate reserve while resisting deformation in mobile or stationary frames. A return filter with a 20 µm absolute rating captures particulate before fluid reenters the tank to protect valves and actuators. Thermal stability is maintained by an air/oil heat exchanger designated H2, which removes excess heat without external water connections. The motor is built in a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure that shields windings from oil mist and shop contaminants. A single-station D03 bar manifold simplifies valve mounting, and three dedicated ports—-6 SAE at X1, ‑12 SAE at X2, and ‑8 JIC at X3—organize pressure, return, and auxiliary lines for quick installation. These features combine to deliver a sealed, filtered, and temperature-controlled hydraulic supply for automated tooling and presses.
