The PP2.5/P1-13/2/3BM3/H2/L0 unit belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for compact hydraulic automation. It uses a fixed-displacement gear pump that moves 0.15 in³ per revolution (2.45 cm³/rev), so each shaft turn delivers a known volume for predictable circuit timing. The pump is driven by a 2 hp (1.4 kW) totally-enclosed fan-cooled motor that runs at 1750 rpm; the enclosure keeps dust out while the fan maintains winding temperature. Three-phase operation on 230/460 V permits installation on common plant mains, while the constant speed allows the pump to supply up to 1.1 GPM (4.15 L/min). A 2.5 gal (9.5 L) reservoir stores working fluid and provides dwell time for air release before the fluid returns to the pump. A −8 SAE drain port simplifies oil changes, while a return filter rated at 20 µm absolute removes particulate contamination on every cycle. Thermal stability is improved by an air-to-oil heat exchanger designated H2, supplied under part number R978809109, which transfers excess heat to ambient airflow. The assembly carries a D03 three-station bar manifold (BM3) so multiple directional valves can be mounted without external piping, and each A/B work port is threaded SAE-8 (3/4-16 UNC) for direct hose connection. These interface points let the power pack feed parallel actuators while keeping hose runs short and leak paths minimal.
