The PP20/G2022/20/3BM1/H0/L0 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth to supply pressurized oil in hydraulic automation. A G2-022 gear pump is paired with a 20 hp (14.9 kW) motor so the assembly can handle medium-duty actuator circuits without additional boosters. Pump displacement is 1.37 in³ per revolution (22.45 cm³ per revolution), and at the rated motor speed of 1750 rpm the unit delivers up to 10.0 GPM (37.85 L/min). System pressure can be increased to 2900 psi (200 bar) for cylinders that require high clamping force. The motor operates on either 230 VAC or 460 VAC at 60 Hz, allowing direct connection to common plant supplies, and its TEFC enclosure guards the windings against airborne contaminants.
A 20 gal reservoir stores the working fluid and provides settling time for heat and air removal, while a single bar manifold station routes flow to connected devices. Twelve Bm ports sized -8 SAE serve branch circuits, and a thirteenth connection in -8 JIC format is reserved for test equipment or auxiliary lines. The manifold’s A and B working connections are SAE-8 (3/4-16) so they align with standard valve blocks, and a matching -8 SAE drain port on the tank streamlines oil changes. Return flow passes through a 20 µm absolute filter element before entering the reservoir, preventing particle contamination of the gear pump and downstream valves. These porting, filtration, and storage features allow the unit to integrate quickly into hydraulic systems with minimal external plumbing.
