The PP20/G2022/10/3BM1/H3/L0 hydraulic power unit is built by Bosch Rexroth as part of the Rexroth Power Packs series. It supplies pressurized fluid to cylinders and motors in automated machinery. The gear pump inside moves 1.37 in³ per revolution, and at 1750 rpm this supports a rated flow of 10.0 GPM. The circuit can operate up to 1450 PSI, giving adequate force for medium-duty actuators. A 10 HP totally enclosed fan-cooled motor in a 215TC frame drives the pump; the winding can be wired for 230 or 460 V three-phase grids. Heat generated during continuous cycles is removed by an H3 air-to-oil exchanger mounted on the return line.
Fluid is stored in a 20 gallon reservoir that connects to the machine through multiple dedicated ports. Working lines for the A and B manifold positions use SAE-8 threads with a 3/4-16 UNC pitch, while control lines branch from X1 at –12 JIC, X2 at –12 SAE, and X3 at –8 JIC. A –8 SAE fitting on the tank floor serves as the drain point for service. Return oil passes through an absolute filter rated at 20 µm before re-entering the tank, preventing particulate damage to valves and actuators. These features complete the hydraulic package and simplify installation in automated press, fixture, or test stand layouts.
