The PP15/G2016/7.5/RV/H0/L0 hydraulic unit is built by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series to supply controlled oil flow in automated machinery. Its gear pump displaces 0.99 in³/rev (16.23 cm³/rev), which, when coupled to a 7.5 hp (5.5 kW) electric motor, delivers up to 7.5 GPM (28.39 L/min) to system actuators. The motor is a three-phase design rated for 230/460 V, operates at 1750 rpm, and mounts on a 213TC frame to match common industrial bases. Under continuous duty the assembly supports line pressures as high as 1450 psi (100 bar), allowing it to drive cylinders and motors in moderate-pressure circuits without external boosters. These characteristics make the unit suitable for centralized hydraulic automation panels where consistent flow and pressure are required.
A 15 gal (57.0 L) steel reservoir supplies the pump and drains through a –8 SAE port for simplified oil changes. Return fluid passes through a filter rated at 20 µm absolute, and a visual clog indicator warns maintenance staff when element replacement is due. Pressure stability is protected by an in-line check valve on the discharge side as well as an integral relief valve and gauge that let technicians set and verify system limits. The enclosure of the drive motor is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) to keep dust from entering while maintaining thermal dissipation. Three connection points are provided: X1 sized –12 JIC, X2 sized –12 SAE, and X3 sized –8 JIC, giving flexibility during manifold or hose routing. All features are housed in the compact assembly to streamline installation and reduce external plumbing.
