The PP15/G2016/15/3BM2/H0/L0 power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series and supplies hydraulic energy to automated equipment. A G2-016 gear pump is fitted to provide consistent volumetric delivery and tolerate typical industrial oil conditions. The pump displaces 0.99 in³ per revolution (16.23 cm³/rev), establishing the volume moved each shaft cycle. This displacement supports a maximum flow of 7.5 GPM (28.39 L/min) for medium-duty actuators, while system components are rated for pressures up to 2900 PSI (200 bar) to create high cylinder forces when required. A 15 gal (57.0 L) reservoir stores sufficient oil for continuous duty and allows thermal settling. Two valve stations on a bar manifold let designers mount directional or pressure valves directly on the unit. The manifold follows the D03 pattern so standard size 3 cartridges drop in without adaptation.
The electric drive section delivers 15 hp (11.1 kW) to the pump, ensuring adequate torque across the working range. Shaft speed is held at 1750 rpm to match the gear pump’s efficient operating point. The motor accepts either 230 V or 460 V three-phase feeds at 60 Hz, enabling connection to common plant mains. A 254TC frame provides a C-face mount that aligns the motor with the pump housing quickly. The totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure keeps contaminants away from the windings while an external fan maintains airflow. Three-phase construction distributes current evenly among conductors for lower heating. Hydraulic discharge exits through a -12 JIC X1 port, giving a standard hose interface for downstream circuits.
