The PP15/G2008/3/3BM1/H0/L0 hydraulic unit is part of the Rexroth Power Packs series from Bosch Rexroth and supplies controlled oil flow for automated cylinders and motors. A gear pump with a displacement of 0.50 in³ per revolution delivers the required volume while keeping internal leakage low. Under full load the pump provides a maximum flow of 3.5 GPM (13.25 L/min), allowing moderate-speed actuator cycles in compact machinery. System pressure can be raised to 1240 psi (85 bar) so clamping or forming circuits obtain sufficient force without overloading the pump. The manifold block holds one bar manifold station and accepts D03 size valves, giving designers a single spool position for directional or pressure functions. A and B working ports are sized SAE-8 (3/4-16) to match common hydraulic hoses and minimize pressure drop between the unit and the machine.
Power comes from a 3 hp (2.2 kW) three-phase motor wired for 230 or 460 V; this dual-voltage option fits standard North American plant supplies. The motor turns at 1750 rpm so the gear pump runs within its efficiency range, and a line frequency of 60 Hz keeps speed constant under varying load. Frame size 182TC provides a standard foot and flange pattern for simple replacement, while a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure protects the windings from airborne oil mist. Hydraulic oil is stored in a 15 gal (57.0 L) reservoir, large enough to dissipate heat generated during continuous duty. A –8 SAE drain port lets service staff remove fluid without lifting the tank, and a return filter rated at 20 µ absolute traps particulate before the oil re-enters the reservoir to protect downstream valves.
