The PP10/G2008/7.5BM1 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation circuits. It employs a gear pump with fixed displacement, rated at 0.50 in³ per revolution, to generate a predictable volume of oil for each shaft turn. With a maximum flow of 3.5 GPM, the unit can move actuators at moderate speeds while keeping energy use reasonable. System pressure capability is 3000 psi, giving the assembly enough headroom for clamping, pressing, or lifting tasks that demand high force. A 7.5 hp motor drives the pump; this rating supplies adequate torque for continuous duty without oversizing. The motor turns at 1750 rpm so that the chosen displacement meets the flow target, and it accepts 230 or 460 VAC on a three-phase supply to integrate with typical plant power systems.
The unit is designed for a 60 Hz mains frequency, which keeps motor slip within expected limits and avoids overheating. Its totally enclosed fan-cooled housing blocks airborne contaminants while directing external airflow across the frame to remove heat. The 213TC frame size simplifies mounting by matching common base plates and shaft couplings. Hydraulic fluid resides in a 10-gallon steel reservoir that offers structural rigidity and thermal mass for oil cooling. A -8 SAE drain port is provided to speed fluid changes and prevent leakage during maintenance. Return flow is filtered to 20 microns absolute, limiting abrasive particles that could erode pump surfaces. One D03 manifold station sits on the top plate so a directional valve can be installed directly, reducing hose runs and keeping the power pack compact.
