The PP10/G2008/5/RV/H3/L0 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth to supply pressurized fluid for hydraulic automation. The integrated gear pump delivers a displacement of 0.5 in³ per revolution (8.20 cm³/rev), and with the motor turning at 1750 rpm it supplies a maximum flow of 3.5 GPM (13.25 L/min) for steady actuator motion. A three-phase, 5 hp (3.7 kW) motor drives the pump; it operates on 230/460 V at 60 Hz, giving plants the option of standard low- or high-voltage mains. System pressure can reach 2080 psi (140 bar) so the pack can handle moderate force requirements. An air/oil heat exchanger removes generated heat, keeping oil viscosity within target limits during continuous duty.
Thermal and electrical durability are aided by a totally enclosed fan-cooled motor enclosure that prevents airborne contaminants from entering the windings. Hydraulic fluid is stored in a 10 gal (38.0 L) steel reservoir sized to match the stated flow and pressure while limiting aeration. A −8 SAE drain port simplifies fluid changes without removing hoses. Return oil passes through a 20 µ absolute filter to capture fine particles before reentering the tank, extending component life. The coordinated relief and cooling elements allow stable operation, and the sealed motor housing, exchanger, reservoir, and filtration work together to provide a compact, self-contained source of clean, cooled hydraulic power for automated machinery.
