The PP10/G2008/5/RV/H0/L0 power pack is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the Rexroth Power Packs series. It supplies hydraulic energy for automated machinery where compact self-contained units are preferred. A pump displacement of 0.5 in³/rev (8.20 cm³/rev) moves a fixed volume per rotation, permitting accurate flow calculations. Coupled with a maximum motor speed of 1750 rpm, that displacement yields a rated flow of 3.5 GPM (13.25 L/min) for moderate-duty actuators. The motor provides 5 hp (3.7 kW) to sustain this output without overloading, and it runs on a 3-phase 60 Hz supply at either 230 V or 460 V, making the unit compatible with standard plant power. A Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled enclosure shields the drive from oil spray, while the 184TC frame size simplifies alignment with common mounting hardware.
The hydraulic circuit accepts working pressures up to 2080 psi (140 bar) so cylinders and rotary actuators can operate without external boosters. A 10 gal (38.0 L) reservoir stores enough fluid to prevent cavitation during rapid strokes, and its -8 SAE drain port allows clean fluid changes. A return filter rated at 20 µm absolute removes contaminants before oil re-enters the tank, extending valve life. Connection points are organized for straightforward plumbing: X1 uses a -8 JIC fitting for pressure delivery, X2 provides a -12 SAE path back to the tank, and X3 offers a -8 JIC auxiliary line. Operating at the stated pressure with this reservoir volume keeps fluid velocity moderate and limits aeration in continuous service.
