The PP10/G2008/2BM1 hydraulic power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series and supplies pressurized oil to actuators in automated machinery. It is configured for 60 Hz operation and is driven by a 2 hp (1.4 kW) three-phase motor that can be wired for either 230 V or 460 V, giving flexibility in standard plant power systems. The motor turns at 1750 rpm, and when paired with the pump’s 0.5 in³/rev (8.20 cm³/rev) displacement, it provides a maximum flow of 3.5 GPM (13.25 L/min) to moderate hydraulic circuits. A totally-enclosed fan-cooled enclosure shields the motor from oil mist while still allowing heat dissipation. These electrical and mechanical parameters allow the pack to maintain consistent speed and flow, supporting steady hydraulic response in automated tooling and fixture applications.
The circuit sustains a maximum pressure of 830 psi (55 bar) so cylinders and clamps can generate adequate force without oversizing components. A single-station D03 bar manifold permits direct mounting of a directional valve, and a pressure line check valve blocks reverse flow when the pump stops to hold load position. An auxiliary down line is provided to run supplemental functions such as pilot controls without additional plumbing. Return oil is stored in a 10 gal (38.0 L) steel reservoir, where a 20 µm absolute filter captures particles before the fluid cycles back to the pump. A −8 SAE drain port simplifies fluid changes, and the steel tank resists impact and permeation during mobile or stationary use.
