The PP10/G2005/5/3BM1/H3/L0 hydraulic power pack is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the Rexroth Power Packs series. Designed to drive hydraulic actuators in automated equipment, it uses a gear pump with fixed displacement to deliver predictable flow. The pump displacement of 0.34 in³ per revolution (5.57 cm³/rev) establishes the flow rate per motor cycle, while a maximum flow of 2.5 GPM (9.46 L/min) supports moderate-size cylinders and tooling. System pressure can reach 2900 psi (200 bar), enabling clamping, pressing, or motion tasks that demand high force. A 5 hp (3.7 kW) electric motor provides the mechanical input; its 1750 rpm speed matches the pump to achieve the stated flow. Dual-voltage windings accept 230 or 460 V three-phase power so the pack can be wired to common plant supplies. The motor is built in the 184TC frame for direct coupling to the pump, and a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure shields the windings from airborne oil mist during continuous duty.
Fluid conditioning and distribution are handled by components mounted on a 10 gal (38.0 L) reservoir that stores the working medium and dampens surge. A -8 SAE drain port simplifies oil changes when service is required. Temperature control is provided by an air/oil heat exchanger designated H3, preventing viscosity loss during sustained operation. Return oil passes through a 20 µm absolute filter to remove particulate before re-entering the tank, limiting wear on valves and actuators. One bar manifold station accommodates circuit valves, and the manifold conforms to D03 size to standardize stack dimensions. Ports on the manifold are sized SAE-8 (3/4-16) to match common hose fittings and maintain consistent flow area. Together these elements complete the hydraulic loop and ensure the power pack supplies clean, cooled, and properly routed fluid to connected automation equipment.
