The PP10/G2005/2/3BM3/H3/L0 power pack belongs to the Rexroth Power Packs series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation where a compact self-contained source of pressure is required. Fluid is stored in a 10 gal (38.0 L) reservoir that supplies the pump during continuous duty. The gear pump has a displacement of 0.34 in³/rev (5.57 cm³/rev), and it combines with internal porting to provide a maximum flow of 2.5 GPM (9.46 L/min). System actuators can be driven up to 1160 psi (80 bar), matching common clamping and positioning loads. Power is supplied by a 2 hp (1.4 kW) electric motor that turns at 1750 rpm to maintain the rated flow. The drive motor accepts either 230 VAC or 460 VAC three-phase input at 60 Hz, allowing straightforward connection to standard industrial mains.
The motor uses a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure to keep dust and oil mist away from windings while still shedding heat to the environment. Thermal stability of the hydraulic fluid is further enhanced by the H3 air/oil heat exchanger, which transfers excess energy from the return line to ambient air. Circuit configuration is handled on a manifold that offers three stations, and each port is sized to SAE-8 (3/4-16 UNC) threads to accept common fittings. Contaminant control is achieved with a return filter rated at 20 µm absolute so particles are removed before entering the reservoir. A factory-installed system relief valve opens when pressure exceeds the set limit, protecting pumps, hoses, and actuators from overload. These features support reliable operation in machinery that demands consistent flow, controlled temperature, and safe pressure management.
