The PSV20/SV20 6974017 62 variable vane pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the PSV Variable Vane Pumps series and supplies adjustable hydraulic flow for automated machinery. The pump displaces 2.0 in³ per revolution, and at 100 psi with the shaft at 1800 rpm it delivers 56.8 L/min to the circuit. System pressure can reach 2000 psi, while shaft speed may climb to 1800 rpm but should not drop below 750 rpm. Mineral oil and ester-based fluids are permitted, whereas water glycol is not accepted. The shaft must turn right-hand clockwise, and the housing can be installed in any position to match varied mounting layouts.
The inlet and thermal limits further define operating boundaries. Absolute inlet pressure may rise to 1.7 bar or fall to 0.8 bar, and inlet vacuum must stay within 6 inHg to prevent cavitation. Case drain pressure is limited to 10 psig, so return plumbing must remain low pressure. Fluid temperature cannot exceed 130 °F to maintain seal integrity. The pump weighs 33 kg when fitted with an ISO 3019/1 flange, a factor to consider when specifying brackets or supports.
