Pilot actuation performance is set by two internal control areas: A1 measures 5.72 cm² and A3 measures 16.61 cm². These areas convert pilot pressure into axial force that lifts the main poppet. The pilot signal enters through port X, which provides a fluid volume of 19.27 cm³ for smooth pressure buildup. Consistent opening occurs once pilot pressure reaches 5 bar, and the design tolerates pilot pressure up to the 315 bar system limit. By combining defined control areas with a specified pilot volume, the valve gives predictable response in circuits that require secure load holding yet rapid release on demand, making it suitable for cylinders, motors, and other automated hydraulic loads.
