The SV10PB1-4X/ valve is part of the Hy-Check Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is intended to lock hydraulic cylinders or actuators until a remote pilot signal is applied. With a nominal size of 10, it handles medium flow volumes commonly found in machine tools and press circuits. Subplate mounting allows the unit to be inserted beneath manifold plates without external piping, and the ISO 5781-06-07-0-16 porting pattern lines it up with standardized cavities. Flow from port A to B is unrestricted, whereas reverse flow from B to A occurs only when pilot pressure is present, giving designers a simple load-holding function. A cracking pressure of 1.5 bar keeps internal leakage minimal until a true command is issued, and the absence of pre-opening ensures that the poppet remains fully seated at rest. A system may apply pilot pressure through control port X; the chamber behind that port holds 2.5 cm³ of oil, so the valve reacts quickly once the signal arrives. Internal pilot oil return eliminates the need for an external drain line and reduces manifold drilling. The device tolerates continuous system pressures up to 350 bar, and the same limit applies to the pilot channel, letting designers use a single pressure class throughout the circuit. At least 5 bar of pilot pressure is needed to overcome the spring and open the poppet, which prevents inadvertent release caused by minor pressure spikes. Directive 2011/65/EU compliance confirms that materials meet RoHS requirements for restricted substances. Because the valve remains stable at full operating pressure, it fits high-pressure presses and injection machines without derating.
