The SV10GA1-4X/V valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the Hy-Check Valves series and is used in hydraulic automation to lock actuators while permitting free flow from A to B when signaled. A pre-opening mechanism reduces pressure surges as the poppet lifts. The unit is sized NG10, so it fits nominal size 10 cavities. Installation relies on a G-threaded connection; the main ports A and B are threaded G1/2 and the pilot port X is G1/4. All threads comply with ISO 228-1, which simplifies replacement with standard pipe fittings. An internal pilot oil return removes the need for an external drain line, and port Y is supplied plugged to avoid leakage paths. At 2.1 kg the valve can be supported directly by the piping. Mineral oil grades HL or HLP to DIN 51524 are specified as the pressure fluid.
The design tolerates system pressures up to 350 bar, allowing service in high-pressure circuits. It opens at a cracking pressure of 1.5 bar, minimizing energy loss while holding load position. The pilot control volume at port X is 2.5 cm³, so only a small amount of fluid is required to shift the poppet and release the check function. Clean operation depends on maintaining an ISO 4406 cleanliness level of 20/18/15 to prevent wear. An FKM seal set provides chemical resistance and durability under continuous mineral-oil exposure.
