The SV10GA1-4X/ valve is part of the Hy-Check Valves series from Bosch Rexroth and is used to hold loads and prevent reverse flow in hydraulic actuators. Its nominal size 10 sets the flow capacity for medium-sized circuits. Ports A and B use G 1/2 threads, providing direct connection to common pipe fittings. The body features a threaded G interface, so the valve can be screwed directly into line runs without a subplate. Flow moves freely from port A to port B, whereas movement from B to A occurs only after the pilot stage opens, protecting components from unwanted back pressure. A cracking pressure of 1.5 bar keeps the poppet sealed until a meaningful differential appears. The design includes pre-opening, which cushions the main poppet movement and limits pressure surges. Pilot control is taken at port X with a G 1/4 thread that fits standard signal hoses. The pilot cavity holds 2.5 cm³, so only a small oil volume is needed to shift the valve.
Pilot oil is returned internally, removing the need for an external drain line. Port Y remains closed, further reducing possible leakage paths. The pilot channel accepts pressures from 5 to 350 bar, allowing the same supply that drives the main system to command the valve. Continuous service at up to 350 bar operating pressure lets the unit fit high-pressure power packs. A viscosity window of 2.8 to 500 mm²/s accommodates thin fluids at startup and thicker oils at high load. The required cleanliness level ISO 4406 20/18/15 limits particle contamination to protect the poppet and seat. Any installation position is permitted, so designers can place the valve horizontally or vertically without affecting function. The threaded version weighs 2.1 kg, so a single technician can install or replace it without lifting aids.
