The pilot stage of the SL30PA2-4X/V accommodates a maximum pilot pressure of 315 bar, letting the control line match main system pressure. Pilot actuation starts at a minimum of 5 bar, enabling remote opening with modest control power. When port X is used, the internal volume to be pressurized is 19.27 cm³, which influences response time in long pilot lines. Port Y presents a smaller volume of 17.5 cm³ to shorten fill time when that connection is selected. The valve functions in ambient temperatures down to –15 °C, ensuring outdoor machinery can start in cold climates. Operation continues so long as ambient temperature does not exceed +80 °C, protecting elastomers and internal fits. The hydraulic medium may be cooled only to –15 °C, below which viscosity and seal performance could be compromised. Conversely, the fluid must not be hotter than +80 °C to avoid damaging the FKM sealing elements.
