The SL25GA1-4X/ check valve is built by Bosch Rexroth within the Hy-Check Valves series and is intended to lock or release hydraulic actuators in automated circuits. It connects through a threaded body, and the a and b ports are cut with G 1 1/4 threads for straightforward installation in pipework. Flow passes freely from port A to port B, while reverse direction is blocked until the pilot stage is energized, which allows B to A flow. A cracking pressure of 2.5 bar defines the point at which the main poppet lifts, and a pre-opening feature moderates pressure surges when the valve starts to open. The housing withstands system pressures up to 315 bar and must be supplied with oil cleaned to ISO 4406 20/18/15 to maintain reliable sealing. The pilot circuit requires a minimum pressure of 5 bar and accepts up to 315 bar, giving a wide control range for remote unlocking of the check function. Pilot oil is returned externally through the Y port so internal cavities do not see backpressure. A control area of 5.72 cm² on the poppet determines the hydraulic force acting against the spring, while control volumes of 19.27 cm³ at port X and 17.5 cm³ at port Y state the oil quantities that must be displaced during actuation. These internal volumes influence response time and must be considered when sizing pilot lines.
