The valve can be installed in any position, giving flexibility for horizontal or vertical block arrangements. To reverse the flow, a pilot pressure of at least 5 bar is required, while 315 bar is the permitted pilot pressure ceiling, matching the main pressure rating. Pilot oil volumes are 10.8 cm³ at port X and 9.6 cm³ at port Y, figures that guide the sizing of actuation lines and accumulator circuits. Because pilot oil is returned externally, drain routing can be directed to low-pressure tank lines rather than through the manifold.
