The SL20PA2-4X/ hydraulic check valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the Hy-Check Valves series. It serves in hydraulic automation circuits to allow unrestricted flow from port A to port B while permitting controlled reverse flow through pilot actuation, thereby maintaining system stability during load changes. The valve is designed for nominal size 20 (NG20) and attaches to manifolds using subplate mounting that corresponds to the ISO 5781-08-10-0-16 porting pattern. Flow from A to B occurs freely, whereas flow from B to A requires a pilot signal, reflecting the A→B free and B→A piloted configuration. A built-in pre-opening feature reduces pressure shocks when the valve opens. Assembly to the subplate calls for fastening screws tightened to 58 Nm to secure the housing against pressure forces. Fluid entering the valve must meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15 cleanliness to protect internal sealing surfaces, and long-term reliability is indicated by a mean time to dangerous failure of 150 years.
