The SL10PB1-4X/ check valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the Hy-Check Valves series and is used in hydraulic automation to block reverse flow until a pilot signal releases the poppet. It features nominal size 10 passages that suit medium-flow circuits, and subplate mounting allows replacement without disturbing pipework. The ISO 5781-06-07-0-16 porting pattern aligns the valve with standard manifolds, while a weight of 1.8 kg enables manual handling during assembly. Because the installation position can be any orientation, designers can place the unit wherever space permits. Flow is free from port A to port B, and the poppet does not shift until the line reaches the 1.5 bar cracking pressure, preventing unintended actuator movement.
The valve requires hydraulic fluid cleanliness better than ISO 4406 20/18/15 to reduce particle wear on sealing edges. It withstands operating pressures up to 350 bar when the mounting screws are tightened to 58 Nm to contain the high internal load. Pilot oil is returned externally, and the poppet responds to control pressures between 5 and 350 bar to accommodate a wide range of circuit conditions. The design holds 2.5 cm³ of pilot oil in port X and 2.0 cm³ in port Y, volumes that must be displaced before motion begins. Because no pre-opening is included, the poppet remains closed until the pilot pressure overcomes the spring, producing a sharp, predictable transition once the set point is reached.
