The HSZ22B106-3X/S200M00 sandwich plate is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the HSZ Sandwich Plates series and is used to incorporate pressure relief functionality into stacked hydraulic manifolds. A direct-operated relief valve vents pressure spikes without pilot delay, and its size 30 orifice matches the internal galleries to sustain flow capacity. The valve body sits on side E for easy access once the plate is bolted into a manifold. System pressure is adjusted with a set screw that has a hex socket and a protective cap to prevent contamination or accidental change. Because the design requires no external connection lines, installers only align the plate with adjoining port faces, which reduces hose routing in compact automation layouts.

The plate withstands operating pressures up to 315 bar, while a factory setting of 200 bar protects downstream components on startup. It provides six face ports labeled P, A, B, T, X, and Y to route pump flow, actuator work lines, tank return, and pilot signals through the sandwich stack. NBR sealing elements contain hydraulic oil and handle thermal expansion without leakage. The steel construction brings the mass to 30.5 kg, so lifting aids or sturdy mounting hardware may be required during installation in high-pressure presses, injection machines, or other hydraulic automation systems.
