Suction conditions are controlled through a maximum inlet pressure of 3 bar absolute to avoid overloading the shaft seal and a minimum of 0.7 bar absolute to prevent cavitation when fluid levels are low. The sealing element is made of FKM so it withstands hot hydraulic oil and common additive packages over extended service intervals. To maintain reliable gear and bearing life, delivered fluid cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 class 20/18/15, limiting particulate contamination that could accelerate wear in precision clearances.
