The ELM1-27W1-NSN-NN power cable belongs to the ELM eLion Power Cables series from Bosch Rexroth. It carries energy between an inverter and the electric motor that drives hydraulic pumps and valves in mobile automation. A conductor cross-section of 70 mm² handles high current without excessive voltage drop, while a stranded copper conductor improves flexibility so the harness can follow moving boom segments. The single-core layout simplifies routing through narrow conduit and reduces magnetic coupling with adjacent phases. A copper braid shield encircles the core and limits emitted electromagnetic noise that could disturb nearby position sensors on proportional valves. Because the assembly is supplied without a cable protection pipe, installers must provide external guards if the route passes abrasive surfaces. A radiation-crosslinked polyolefin jacket encloses the braid; this material resists diesel oil and hydraulic fluid splash encountered around power packs.

The contact lugs are rated for 70 mm², so the termination can carry the same current as the conductor without derating at the distribution block. Internal insulation is a radiation-crosslinked copolymer that maintains dielectric strength under the elevated temperatures typical of hydrostatic drives. On the inverter end a straight connector in the standard position guides the cable directly toward the cabinet sidewall and keeps bend radii within specification. The motor side uses an M25 gland with a ring cable lug, giving a low-profile exit that fits tight motor housings on compact pumps. An orange outer jacket provides quick visual identification of energized power lines during service. Phase allocation follows the ELS-CN5*W* code in red print, supporting consistent wiring when multiple cables feed multi-pump assemblies.
