The ELM1-27V1-NSN-NN power cable belongs to the ELM eLion Power Cables series and is produced by Bosch Rexroth for routing motor current in electrohydraulic drive assemblies. The design employs a single core so the conductor can carry full phase current without parallel wiring. A cable cross-section of 70 mm² supports the high amperage drawn by dynamic pump motors, while an identical 70 mm² contact size keeps termination resistance low at both ends. Electrical safety is maintained by insulation made from radiation-crosslinked copolymer that resists voltage stress and elevated temperatures. External durability is provided by a radiation-crosslinked polyolefin jacket, which shields the conductor from abrasion and fluids encountered around hydraulic power units.

For reliable field installation the cable attains IP6K7 and IP6K9K ingress protection, enabling temporary immersion and high-pressure wash-down near hydraulic machinery. The inverter end is fitted with a straight connector in the standard position so it mates directly with eLion drives without adapter hardware. A motor-power distribution interface is realized through an M25 gland with a ring cable lug, giving a secure chassis ground and strain relief at the actuator housing. The assembly is supplied without a cable protection pipe, allowing users to route it through existing cable trays or conduits as preferred. A green phase code labeled ELS-CN5*V* identifies the conductor during installation and prevents wiring errors in multi-cable harnesses.
