The ELM1-27U2-NSW-NN power cable belongs to the ELM eLion Power Cables series from Bosch Rexroth. It transfers electrical energy between an inverter module and electro-hydraulic drives used in mobile automation. A conductor cross-section of 70 mm² enables the cable to carry the high currents demanded by large eLION motors with limited voltage drop. The single-core layout simplifies routing through articulated booms and reduces magnetic coupling with neighboring conductors. Contact lugs sized for 70 mm² wire maintain the full ampacity at terminations. An outer diameter of 17.0 mm with a tolerance of ±0.3 mm helps designers specify suitable clamping and bend radii. The conductor is surrounded by radiation-crosslinked copolymer insulation, and an angular 90° connector in the standard position mates directly with the inverter to keep enclosure depth small.

Radiation-crosslinked polyolefin forms the outer jacket, giving the assembly abrasion resistance against hoses and steel frame members found on hydraulic machinery. A factory-installed cable protection pipe further shields the sheath from stone impact and flex fatigue during continuous field operation. On the motor side, an M25 gland with a ring cable lug attaches to the power distribution port, providing a sealed feed-through while preserving full conduction area. Phase identification follows the code ELS-CN5*U* and the yellow color band permits quick assignment when multiple phases are present in a harness. Together these mechanical and marking features allow the cable to maintain electrical integrity and simple serviceability in demanding hydraulic automation circuits.
