The DR10-5-4X/100Y valve is part of the DR Pressure Reducing Valves series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation where stabilized downstream pressure is required. It fits an NG10 mounting pattern, and its pilot-operated design maintains control accuracy under varying load conditions. An internal pilot oil supply feeds the control stage directly from the inlet gallery, while pressure is adjusted by a bushing with a hexagon head that is protected by a cap to prevent tampering. Flow is routed from port B to port A, and the unit can be installed in any position, simplifying manifold layout. The maximum operating pressure on the inlet side is 315 bar, and the valve limits outlet pressure to 100 bar to protect actuators within the circuit.
Pilot oil is returned externally through port Y, allowing contamination-free discharge to tank. The pressure acting on port Y adds to the set value at a 1:1 ratio, enabling intentional pressure biasing when needed. Counter pressure at port Y may reach 250 bar without affecting functional safety, making the valve suitable for high back-pressure lines. A maximum flow of 80 l/min may pass through the subplate interface, ensuring adequate supply for medium-sized cylinders or motors. These characteristics combine to deliver predictable pressure reduction and stable performance in compact hydraulic manifolds.
