The DBAW15BF2-2X/200-6EG24N9K4 safety block belongs to the DBA Pump Safety Blocks series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It protects hydraulic pumps by limiting system pressure and isolating flow in automated circuits. The block is built to nominal size 16 and mounts to manifolds through an ISO 6162-1 flange. Pressure is set with a hex bushing fitted with a cap to secure the chosen value. A normally open directional valve vents the circuit until a 24 V DC signal arrives through the three-pin EN 175301-803 connector. The relief path is rated for 200 bar, and the body withstands up to 350 bar. Pump flow up to 300 l/min enters through an SAE 3/4 port. A G1/4 gauge port provides pressure monitoring, and the tank port uses a G3/4 thread for return flow.
The block accepts HL, HLP, HLPD, HVLP, HVLPD, and HFC hydraulic fluids, giving compatibility with both mineral and water-glycol media common in industrial power units. At the tank connection it tolerates counter pressure up to 210 bar in direct-current operation, so back-pressure valves downstream do not impair relief function. Port X is provided with a G1/4 thread to receive pilot lines for remote unloading or pressure feedback. The assembly mass is 6.1 kg, permitting installation by one technician without lifting equipment. Porting for the pilot stage is separate from the main SAE 3/4 pump inlet, limiting cross-talk between control and power flows. When the solenoid is energized, the directional stage blocks pump flow and routes it safely to tank, protecting the pump during start-up or emergency stop events. This design combines electrical actuation, defined pressure limits, and standardized porting to simplify integration into automated hydraulic systems.
