DBA Pump Safety Blocks

The Bosch Rexroth DBA Pump Safety Blocks are pilot-operated pressure relief valves designed for direct mounting onto the pump's SAE pressure port. Their primary function is to limit the maximum operating pressure in a hydraulic system. The valve operates when system pressure exceeds the set value, causing the pilot control valve to open, which shifts the main spool to divert excess flow from the pressure line to the tank line. Type DBAW models provide an additional function by including a built-on directional valve for solenoid-actuated unloading, enabling a crucial depressurized start-up and circulation of the pump. Furthermore, the blocks can optionally integrate a check valve (DBAR) to maintain system pressure and prevent hydraulic fluid from flowing back into the pump.
