The DAC2-5X/200-17/12 valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the DA Pressure Cut-Off Valves series and serves to interrupt hydraulic flow when the preset limit is reached. Pressure is adjusted with a spindle protected by a cap, defined as adjustment type 2, so settings can be changed without exposing internal parts. The cut-off function is calibrated for a pressure rating of 200 bar and trips when the system rises 17 percent above the chosen setpoint. Port P may endure 315 bar during operation, allowing the valve to sit in high-pressure supply lines. Mineral oil meeting DIN 51524 HL or HLP categories is the specified medium, and circuit cleanliness is required to stay within ISO 4406 (c) 20/18/15. Installation is allowed in any position, and total mass is 1.2 kg, which simplifies handling during manifold assembly.
The design omits a cushioning nozzle, so flow shuts off quickly once the trigger pressure is reached. Port A also tolerates 315 bar, while the return ports T and Y are limited to 100 bar, ensuring the housing is not overstressed when backpressure develops. Pilot oil returns internally, eliminating the need for an external drain line. Sealing elements are made from NBR, giving chemical compatibility with the approved mineral oils across a viscosity band of 10 to 800 mm²/s. Optimal response is achieved when the fluid stays between 20 and 60 mm²/s, and service temperature must remain from −30 to +80 °C to preserve seal integrity and maintain predictable switching behavior.
