The DAC1-5X/200-17Y valve belongs to the DA Pressure Cut-Off Valves series produced by Bosch Rexroth for hydraulic automation circuits. It is a pilot-operated pressure cut-off design that isolates flow once a preset pressure is achieved, protecting downstream components. The unit is rated for 200 bar and allows the cut-off point to be set with a rotary knob, enabling quick manual adjustment without tools. To provide a clear changeover point, the internal mechanism applies a 17 % switching pressure differential between opening and closing. Port P can withstand operating pressures up to 315 bar while port T/y is limited to 100 bar, allowing safe return flow conditions. Pilot oil is vented externally through the Y port so tank back-pressure does not influence the cut-off characteristic.
As an installation valve, the DAC1-5X/200-17Y is inserted directly into a manifold cavity, and it can be mounted in any position to simplify block layout. The design omits an integrated check valve and includes no directional spool stage, so flow direction depends solely on the surrounding circuit. Acceptable pressure media are HL or HLP fluids according to DIN 51524, and cleanliness should be maintained at 20/18/15 per ISO 4406 to preserve reliable shifting. Sealing surfaces use NBR elastomers that are compatible with the specified oil range, while the external dimensions keep total mass at 1.2 kg for easy handling during assembly. These features allow the valve to deliver consistent cut-off performance without added components or orientation limits.
