DA20-2-5X/200-17Y

The DA20-2-5X/200-17Y valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth in the DA Pressure Cut-Off Valves series. It interrupts flow in hydraulic automation once a preset limit is reached and therefore protects downstream components. The unit is supplied in size 25, which establishes its mounting and flow envelope. It is intended for mineral oil fluids coded HL or HLP, allowing integration with common industrial power units. Ports P and A tolerate operating pressures up to 315 bar so the valve can reside in high-pressure supply lines. The pressure set point can be adjusted between 100 and 200 bar, and this is carried out by a spindle fitted with a protective cap to guard the setting against accidental movement.

A switching pressure differential of 17 % defines the gap between cut-off and re-engagement, providing predictable cycling behavior. Ports T and Y withstand pressures up to 100 bar, which safeguards the return and pilot circuits against overload. The pilot oil is routed back externally through port Y to keep internal chambers free from excess backpressure. NBR seals are used to isolate the working fluid and maintain leak-free operation. The required cleanliness level is ISO 4406 20/18/15, so filtration must keep particle contamination within that count. The valve weighs 7.7 kg, a factor to consider when selecting manifold supports or mounting hardware.
