Circuit charge is maintained by an internal boost stage; its nominal boost pressure is 25 bar absolute and it can rise to 40 bar absolute to keep the rotating parts flooded during transients. The boost pump displaces 39.8 cm³ per revolution, providing makeup flow for leakage and cooling. Suction limits specify a maximum inlet pressure of 5 bar absolute and a continuous minimum of 0.8 bar absolute, so reservoir layout must stay within those bounds to avoid aeration or excessive bearing load. A case volume of 3.1 L holds internal leakage oil and allows thermal expansion; it also carries heat away from the swash plate and bearings to protect service life in demanding mobile hydraulic applications.
