The 3FREX6B-1X/7 5L2G24-25N9Z4MM flow control valve is built by Bosch Rexroth as part of the 3FRE Flow Control Valves series. It meters hydraulic oil in automated circuits where proportional adjustment of flow is required. The unit is sized NG6 and fits the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 mounting pattern, so it installs directly on a subplate without additional adapters. A nominal flow rate of 7.5 l/min provides predictable volumetric delivery, while the linear flow characteristic allows steady proportional change as the command signal varies. The assembly withstands working pressures up to 250 bar, enabling use on medium-pressure manifolds. NBR seals protect internal passages against leakage, and residual flow is routed through port P to maintain system circulation under partial closure.
The valve receives a 24 V DC supply and responds to a +10 V setpoint input referenced to Qmax for normally closed operation. Its coil draws up to 2.5 A, and connection is made through a DIN 43650-AM2 plug to simplify field wiring. There is no integrated check valve, so reverse flow must be managed externally, and the pressure compensator closure is also omitted. A covered manual override labeled N9 permits emergency actuation without energizing the solenoid. No position transducer is fitted, therefore feedback must be taken from system sensors if required. These features combine to deliver proportional flow control in compact manifolds while keeping component count and maintenance requirements low.
