When power is removed the valve stays closed, giving a de-energized flow of 0 l/min for safe machine shutdown. Integrated electronics operate from a 24 V DC supply and accept a 4–20 mA setpoint so controllers can issue direct current commands. An inductive position transducer monitors spool travel for closed-loop regulation, and wiring is completed through a DIN 43563-AM6 connector that carries six signal contacts plus protective earth. The design omits a non-return valve to reduce pressure losses on the return side. NBR seals compatible with HL and HLP fluids contain internal leakage and resist degradation during continuous duty.
