The 3525V38E17 86CC 22L double pump is produced by Vickers for the V Series Vane Pumps series and supplies hydraulic flow for automated motion loops. It turns in a left-hand counterclockwise direction, aligning port orientation with drives that rotate the shaft the same way. The shaft end section displaces 121 cm³ per revolution, the cover end delivers 55 cm³ per revolution, and the total output equals 176 cm³ per revolution when both are combined. At 1200 rpm and 6.9 bar, the shaft end furnishes 38 US gpm while the cover end provides 17 US gpm, giving two independent flow paths from one housing. The unit operates between 600 and 1800 rpm, so flow can be matched to machine demand across a broad speed range.
Both outlets tolerate 172 bar, allowing equal maximum working pressure on the shaft and cover ends during simultaneous duty. Suction lines must stay below 1.4 bar and the inlet head should not exceed 0.35 bar to protect shaft seals and minimize aeration. The pump copes with up to 5 in Hg of inlet vacuum, which permits mounting above the reservoir when necessary. An input shaft capacity of 600 N·m transmits the torque needed for full-pressure starts without overload.
