The 25V21A 1D22R pump belongs to the V Series Vane Pumps produced by Vickers for hydraulic automation. Its internal pumping element uses a vane configuration that supplies a fixed displacement of 67 cm³ per revolution, or 4.13 in³ per revolution, to maintain consistent flow. When driven at 1200 rpm against 100 psi, the unit delivers a rated capacity of 21 US gpm, matching typical power-pack demands. Operating speed can be reduced to 600 rpm without loss of volumetric accuracy, allowing low-noise slow-running circuits. The upper speed limit is 1800 rpm when anti-wear oil is used, which prevents vane tip abrasion at high surface velocities. Drive trains must turn the shaft clockwise when viewed from the shaft end to align with the pump’s engineered rotation.

A flange-mount housing lets the 25V21A 1D22R bolt directly to motor adapters, simplifying alignment. The inlet port uses an FL-12 flange size to accommodate large suction lines that reduce cavitation risk. Discharge fluid exits through an FL-8 outlet flange, sized to sustain rated flow while limiting velocity. The outlet is positioned 90° clockwise from the inlet when viewed from the cover end, easing pipe runs in right-hand layouts. Both ports employ inch threads, allowing use of standard North American fittings during installation. The pump withstands a continuous pressure of 172 bar, or 2500 psi, so circuit relief valves can be set for demanding work cycles. Up to 250 Nm of input torque can be applied to shaft 1, ensuring the pump reaches full load pressure without overloading the drive coupling.
