The 25V21A 11A22R vane pump is built by Vickers and belongs to the V Series Vane Pumps series. It converts mechanical energy into fluid power for hydraulic automation in presses, machine tools, and other industrial systems. The geometric displacement is 67 cm³ per revolution, so each shaft turn supplies a fixed volume for predictable actuator speed. When driven at 1200 rpm under 100 psi, the unit delivers a rated flow of 21 US gpm to support moderate-flow circuits. Continuous service is allowed up to 172 bar, giving sufficient margin for most mobile and stationary machinery. Specified clockwise rotation lets the pump couple directly to standard right-hand electric motors. Fluid enters through an FL-12 inlet flange and exits through an FL-8 outlet flange, and both ports follow the SAE four-bolt flange pattern to simplify installation.
Maximum inlet pressure is 1.4 bar, so reservoir design should limit backpressure to that value. The pump will still prime at a minimum inlet vacuum of –0.17 bar, permitting elevated reservoirs or long suction lines. Acceptable oil viscosity spans from 13 cSt to 54 cSt, which balances lubrication with low power loss across typical temperature ranges. The outlet sits opposite the inlet (position A), aiding straightforward line routing in compact power units. Operating noise is 63 dB(A) at 1200 rpm, helping reduce overall system sound compared with similar displacement gear pumps. A shipping weight of 14.8 kg enables a single technician to mount the unit without lifting equipment.
