The 25V17A 11B22L vane pump is manufactured by Vickers for the V Series Vane Pumps series and is intended to circulate hydraulic oil in automated machinery. It is a single vane pump with a displacement of 55 cm³ per revolution (3.39 in³/rev), producing 17 gpm at 1200 rpm and 100 psi to maintain stable actuator flow. Continuous service is possible down to 600 rpm so low-speed drives still obtain usable volume. Counter-clockwise shaft rotation is required because the drive end carries a 13-tooth 16/32 DP spline that fits standard industrial couplings. A flange-mount housing simplifies direct attachment to motors or brackets, and an SAE FL-12 inlet flange supplies a generous entry passage that limits suction losses.
The pump withstands 172 bar (2500 psi) continuously with anti-wear oil, supporting high-pressure circuits in presses or tooling. Inlet pressure can be as high as 1.4 bar (20 psi) or as low as −0.17 bar (5 inHg), giving flexibility in reservoir placement and filtration head. Discharge exits through an SAE FL-8 flange located 90° counter-clockwise from the inlet, enabling right-angle hose routing in tight panels. All ports use the SAE four-bolt flange pattern, allowing common split-flange fittings across the installation. Internal leakage is directed back to the inlet cavity, so no external case-drain line is needed and plumbing is simplified.
